This is another poem that I wrote, to a friend who always shows me the meaning of 'us' and never we had between us - u n me. It will always be -'us'.
IS IT WE(US) - II
Growing upon you and me
Is it world uprooting we
Where hath been you?
And me left a place no dwell
Where I amidst your waves (or)
you amidst mine, all is fine
Need we anniversaries till death
And our enmities put to death
Well and fine are words from lips,
And you know all untruth dips…
The roll of waves upon one other,
I see my worries slide under…
For me thought of you – my waves
And I cannot stop with this you my days…
For me to stop, it will take ages..
and there will be none without u in all of its pages... :)
